What does the insurance cover?Your safety and insurance are our foremost concerns. Our policy is to have 100% transparency and accuracy on our terms and conditions regarding insurance coverage. You can read all the details here ▶ At Corfu Vespa, we only give promises that we can fulfil. 🔰 The BASIC insurance covers damages against third parties, driver and passenger health assistance. 🔰 In the event of an accident with your Vespa, you are automatically insured for the damage caused to third parties. However, the damage cost you will cause to your vehicle and any damage you might have suffered yourself does not fall under this insurance. Your travel or medical insurance usually covers this. 🔰 An extra insurance ("Corfu Vespa Tours Care") is available to limit the amount to be paid in case of crash or theft. This extra insurance is on the name of the driver and is not valid if the driver doesn't have prior experience of scooter/motorbike riding or if he/she let drive unauthorizes persons. This extra insurance doesn't cover the accesories. You can view more details here ▶

Why can I not book instantly online the "Savour The flavours of Corfu" and the "Above and beyond Paleokastritsa" Vespa tour?During these two tours, we visit some establishments, and we must make arrangements and appointments before our visit at least 24 hours before the tour. We were forced to decide not to accept instant online bookings because, unfortunately, last year, we had so many last-minute cancellations because the travellers were showing up on the tour date without the correct driving license or without experience driving a maxi scooter or driving with a pillion (and they were planning to have as a pillion their wife most of the times).

Why renting a scooter for 1 day is more expensive than renting one for 2 or 3 days?During High season 2- 3 days rental costs almost 10% less per day than the 1-day rental fee, and for a 4-days rental or longer, you get an extra nearly 10% off per day. For the rest of the year, the 2- 3 days rental costs almost 15% less per day than the 1-day rental fee and for a 4-days rental or longer, you get an extra 10% off per day. Our web-booking system automatically applies the discounts based on your chosen rental dates. Below you will find the main reasons why the rental price decreased. Our pricing is formed based on the following reasons: 1. Each time you return a scooter, we check the scooter for damages 2. We clean and disinfect the helmets in depth using our Karcher steam cleaner, Motul® Helmet Interior pure formula, and Antibacterial Surface Cleanser Spray 3. We are washing, disinfecting where needed, and polishing the scooter. 4. Travellers who book the Vespa just for a day or two usually ride more kilometres per day than those who rent the Vespas for extended periods. Maintenance procedures require time, special cleaning and polishing formulas, and equipment.

Is it ok to drive off the road (gravel - dirt - concrete) with the Vespa? The Vespa is made to be driven on well-paved roads - asphalt roads. It is forbidden to drive off the road with Vespa. If you are looking for a vehicle to go off-road, please choose an option that meets these criteria, like a dirt bike, an enduro or mountain bicycle or an ATV-Quad. At this point, we want to remind you that Vespa is a luxury brand of scooters manufactured under high safety standards with leading technology, but all these get ruined if you drive off the road.

What is the difference between a Vespa 125cc Primavera and a Vespa 125cc GTS?The 125cc Primavera has a maximum load capacity of 150kg. It is a lightweight scooter compared to the GTS. It is an ideal option for not-tall and lightweight riders. The 125cc GTS Vespa considers by many as a maxi scooter. It weighs (168kg) much more than a Primavera, and it has a larger frame and more storage capacity. It is an ideal option for tall or heavy travellers with plenty of experience driving a maxi scooter or a motorcycle. The GTS has a 36-litre capacity top case. The Primavera has a 32-litre top case.
